Please join our efforts and have a life changing experience on your visit to our beautiful Africa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whilst specific job roles and activities are flexible, according to your talents and preferences and as per Street Shepherds Africa\u2019s needs, volunteers may often adopt one of the following job roles during their stay with us:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Volunteer Coordinators,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Getting involved with local and overseas fund raising, sponsorship programs, volunteer administration, writing fund raising proposals etc<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Nursery School Assistant<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Working with Street Shepherds Africa with the younger children, helping with their daily care, nursery education and recreation<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Primary School Assistant<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Working at Orphanages and centers supported by Street Shepherds Africa with the primary school children, helping with lessons, tuition and recreation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Handyman\/woman<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Working at any location to decorate, repair, maintain and improve aspects of Street Shepherds Africa\u2019s infrastructure. At Street Shepherds Africa, there is always something to be done.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Social work assistant<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Getting involved with the social care side beyond the everyday needs of the children; building bridges with the local community. In practice, each volunteer brings their own skills, interests and experience, and can offer their personal contribution and fresh ideas. Volunteers staying for shorter visits can bring activities and projects for the children, and assist throughout SSA\u2019s programs generally, whereas those staying for longer programs are able to run longer term initiatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is ultimately up to the volunteer to decide what they would like to do for SSA, and most end up having multiple roles and projects.
