Street Shepherds Africa envisions a world where Orphans and children in vulnerable environments contribute to their societies as active and empowered citizens; free of exclusion, oppression, injustice, disadvantage, and vulnerability.

We are devoted in transforming lives of children by creating world where every child have equal access to all basic and necessary needs: access to food, shelter, clean water, quality health care, education, justice, and reverence as member sof our community.

We strive to see that every child in Tanzania and world at large is helped to become a respected member of his/her community, with all potential tools to support him/her and his/her family for a lifetime.

Mission

Street Shepherds Africa’s mission is to Help orphans and children in vulnerable environments (in orphanages, on streets and in extreme poverty in our communities) to reach their full potential.

Bearing the fact that over 40% of the Tanzania population is made of children, under 14 years, it’s clear that the future of our country is in hands of these children therefore it is vital to equip, nurture, and encourage them to grasp the opportunities for transformation.

We are devoted to raise local and international awareness on children’s rights to facilitate and bring social and economic transformation among our communities where access to quality education and emotional support for orphaned and vulnerable children to reach their full potential and thrive in their communities is secured.

Guarantee orphans and underprivileged children with a life that is worth living, where hope and purpose are cherished among them.

To encourage and create a network of kind and loving hearts across the world towards taking a responsibility in providing the crucial and basic needs to the needy and less fortunate children, including food, shelter, education with safe and secure loving relationships to children whose families cannot and will not be able to provide them with such needs as we believe that all children belong to families and not in orphanages.
