Once completed Street Shepherds Africa will strive to:-
- Provide quality education to children from vulnerable and poverty stricken communities by building Malaika House Montessori Schools in Arusha, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar with sponsorship to orphans and less fortunate children who can hardly afford the expensive private schools thus providing them with equal access to quality education.
- Build “Boarding Malaika Houses” For Malaika House students to provide quality and safe homes to Orphaned, Abandoned, and Children in vulnerable environments on streets (to help them get off streets and have a place they can call home) in Arusha, Mwanza, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.
- Provide scholarship to orphaned and less fortunate Children at all levels of education with priority to orphans and those who are thirsty to get education but have no ability to continue with their studies due to financial setbacks hence ensuring that them with access to equal and quality education, with psycho-social support through advancement of their support structure.
- Initiate “Malaika Farms” farms for sustainable food security for the poorer communities, targeting to feed over 4000 orphaned and less fortunate Children in Orphanages, on the streets and in poverty stricken communities in Tanzania. Malaika Farms will also Provide agribusiness and tertiary training to orphaned and less fortunate children to increase food security, create jobs and business opportunities that will help them become respected and independent members of our community.
- Provide medical aid to Orphaned and less vulnerable children via SSA Mobile Clinics in Mwanza, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Iringa and Zanzibar while serving the communities in critical need for Medical aid to improve the well being of these communities hence decreasing the number of orphans and abandoned children in our community
- Provide legal assistance and advocate children’s equal rights to quality education, non-discrimination and, raise awareness through community sensitization and media engagement in supporting orphans and Children living in vulnerable environments through our legal aid centers to be established in Arusha, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.
- Develop strong partnerships and resource mobilization programs via capacity building of local and international partners, engaging government bodies and communities towards improving the welfare of Orphans and vulnerable children.
- Initiate a number of campaigns and social events on all media channels (Electronic & print media), Street Education through sports, games, and clubs to raise awareness against all social-economic injustices towards orphaned and less fortunate children including abuse and brutality.
- Build SSA’s organizational capacity through staff training, professional development, and conferred support.
