Born in Denmark, Raised in Britain Matthew leads the Orphanage Africa Campaign and the Mensah resources, Matthew rejoices in helping and supporting the vulnerable children in Africa starting from his homeland Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and many others.
He is the founder and master mind behind the Africa Orphanage campaign supporting thousands of children across Africa. In 2012 Metthew met Senais Joseph during the African Development Bank’s Summit held in Arusha, and developed a great desire to support and run a children’s Centre here in Arusha where with a network of friends from the UK, started right away by giving over 24 Mattresses and food to Naserian School and Orphanage that by the time had most of the children sleeping on the floor and hardly having enough food to sustain a day.
In 2013 he finally managed to raise some money and reached an agreement with Street Shepherds Africa to work together and support the Mensah Living Water Children’s Centre in Ngulelo where the money raised helped to conduct an overall renovation of the centre and put a security wall around the centre and improve the security and safety of over 160 children living at Living water Children’s Centre now.
Matthew also runs a number of campaigns to support the struggling families and children across Africa, including The Breast cancer Campaign in Nigeria and Catwalk Africa campaign promoting African fashion and designing to support the poor children living on the streets and in our neighborhoods.
Street Shepherds Africa feels highly honored to hove such a kind heart and high caliber team member together we have set a number of prospective plans to improve the lives of Children in Arusha and Africa at large.
Matthew joins our team as our Creative Director and Donor development coordinator in the Uk and South Africa.
