Street Shepherds Africa is a public benefit and charity organization for humanitarian aid and development devoted to advocating children’s rights by condemning all forms of injustice towards Children and Women in our society.
Every year hundreds of children in Africa die of hunger and malnutrition. Food scarcity and lack of balanced diet is among the major challenges facing many orphanages, children centres and poor families. Some orphanages are forced to close down due to lack of sustainable food security. Children drop out of school as a result of lack of food that leads to poor concentration in school resulting to poor performance in school. Help us reach more hungry children in orphanages, on the streets, and the less fortunate families in our community.
When Street Shepherds visited our orphanage, most of us had no beds nor matresses, nor food to sustain the next day.
Gratefully the next day in our surprise Street Shepherds brought us more mattresses and all of us had one with so many others in excess. Till this day i will always be grateful for their support, care and love
Our Orphanage had no fence around it, everyday we would worry about our safety, especially whenever we would play our favorite games after school. The open Septic tank across our orphanage was the most danger to us as balls would always go there.
Street Shepherds came in, built us a tall wall around the whole house, and renovated our orphanage, now we can happily play our games with no fear of the Septic tank nor insecurity. Thank you Street Shepherds for your love care and support to us and our dreams.
I ran back to the streets after my drunk father beat me severely, left me with septic ulcer as a result of the beating, Since i live on the streets i tried to search for help to go to hospital but no one would help me, it was a very hard time and was very worried as my wound git bigger and bigger everyday.
Then Street Shepherds came to my rescue, took me to hospital, got a tetanus injection and treated my wound now my wounds are healed and i have a new hope though still struggling to get off the streets, Thanks to Street Shepherds for always being there whenever we need their help, and for always giving us hope that someday we we will also be able to get off the streets and reach our dreams like other children.
